This camera features a 42.4MP resolution backlit CMOS sensor,  with 399 focal plane phase detection AF points, and boasts an expandable top ISO of 102,400. It also has a wide dynamic range, comparable to much more expensive cameras.

A highly capable still camera, it also captures UHD 4K video internally, and supports S-Log2 gamma. It has 5-way in-camera SteadyShot stabilization for smooth video capture and increased stability for stills.
